OK, so this is the situation, at least as far as I know it. My name is Beauford, I am about 1 and 1/2 years old, neutered and very lovable. But an event happened the other day that is very confusing to me. Here's what happened. I looked out in the yard and I saw someone in it who I did not recognize at the time. She had a hooded sweatshirt on , with the hood up and I reacted as I though I should. I ran out and sorta bit her. I stopped when I saw who she was, but I guess it was too late. Anyhow, my Moms were very upset and the next thing I knew, I was in the car, on the way to a place called the SPCA. The people there were very nice ... (Read More)and I heard them tell my Mom that they could quarantine me for 10 days and then they would put me down, whatever that is. She was very upset and even though I tried to make her feel better, she agreed to let me stay in that place. I was pretty scared. There were a lot of other dogs, mostly pit bulls who were there in different kennels from me and they all looked just as scared. And then , about1 hour later, my Mom came back and she said she couldn?t leave me there, that I didn?t deserve it and she said she would take me home for the 10 days . Then she said something that I didn?t understand, something about euthanizing me afterwards. I really don?t know what that means, but judging on how sad my Mom is, I don?t think it?s something good. Anyhow, I?m back home with her and she is really loving on me a lot, but I wish she would not cry so much. She keeps telling me that I am a good boy and she knows that I was just trying to protect her and my brothers and sisters. But she said, she can?t keep me. Something about my being too strong for her and that I need someone who can exercise me more and can train me a bit better. I don?t know exactly what that means as I think she does good with me. But I guess I am a bit too strong for her sometimes. So, anyhow, my Mom has said that she will give me a little longer and try to find me a new home. Everyone that has seen me has said that I should not be put down, whatever that means and that I am not a dog that bites. But I am protective of my family and I thought that is what I was supposed to do. Anyhow, I am confused and I thought that if someone out there knows about me, they will consider taking me or at least mention me to others. I am a bit active and I love life. I have been somewhat trained and that works most of the time ( unless I see a rabbit and then I get rabbit brain.) I am not agressive and my Moms want a home for me where I will be treated with love. I am an inside dog so I would not do well in an outside kennel. I think I am a lap dog and I love curling up to my Moms. Sometimes I pin them down and I guess it is kind of hard for them to get up, but I just have so much love in me for them, that I get carried away. Anyhow, they think that I would have a happier life with someone that can give me more active attention then they can. So, I?m writing this to ask you if you know of anyone who could give me a new home. Call my moms at 302-684-1885 if you can help me out. Until then, I remain, forever lovable, Beauford. I acquired Nala at six months old. I have an older female pit bull and now they are not getting along and we are having to keep them separated. This could be due to the difference in their ages and energy levels. Nala is a great dog, loves people and loves to snuggle. She is fully house trained and loves to be outside. Free to a good home. JuJuBe is a 50 lb sweetheart of a dog except when around other female dogs. Currently she has attacked our other female numerous times and we just don't want risk her around the other dogs either. She is possessive over food and attention. She is mainly an indoor dog, house trained and kennel trained. I am posting for my parents. They are letting her stay a week, then she goes to the animal shelter where her fate is most likely death. Please help us give her a chance to find a more suitable home. Free to good home. Capone is wonderful with humans, loves people, loves to play and run. He loves to chew on any type of bones or rawhides and will do so for hours!! He is crate trained. He does need to be neutered and is not good with other animals. He needs to be an only dog with people that have time to train and play with him. He also needs to be somewhere he has room to run. Baby is a female 6 yr old purebred red nosed pit bull. She is tan and white. She weighs approx 75lbs and is a great dog who gets along very well with people and children. We have 2 kids 7 & 1 and she is great with them. She is very friendly and very obedient. We just do not have enough time to give her the attention that she deserves and needs. chico is a beautiful male. loves children i raised 7, all grown now have a 4 n a half yorkshire terrier and a 10 pound pomeranian and chico loves them both dearly. plays tug of war w them and lets them win....children grown and moving out. apartments wont let chico live in apartments...chico needs someone who loves pit bulls . We resued Dot from a lady that was homeless,she was suppose to return and has not yet done so!Where we live she does not have anywhere to run and she really needs to do so.I have 2 chihuahuas and a cat that she gets along with.We also have 3 children that she adores.Dot can deal with ppl as long as they are brought in with my husband or myself.And the problem is we have alot of visitors and we travel alot so I really feel bad for her I dont think its fair that she has to stay in the kennel or locked in a room.She does have anxiety if left in a room with the door shut and she is alone!she has been abused by someone before us!Burn marks on her ... She is a 7 year old female Red Nose pit bull, this is a picture of her brother, but they are identical other then his head is bigger, she is currently living with her owner who is about to be thrown out within the next few days so won't have a home to keep her in, an help to find a loving home would be great!! Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
