Meet Valentine--she is named that because look at the heart on her back! She is a sweet mama and on death row with her two little puppies estimated at 6-7 weeks. Shelter and volunteer staff have been extremely impressed with her calm demeanor. In many cases mama dogs (understandably) can be quite tense around others. Valentine is not. We found this sweet boy walking around, abandoned in a very busy industrial park. He's neutered and was very well groomed, so we looked for lost ads and checked with local shelters, but no luck. This puppy was found abandoned 11-20-11 in the woods with 3 other puppies. All the puppies had parvo and all died but this one. He has had Parvo vaccine and is doing well now. He has had a skin condition that we think was mange or scabies and we had dipped him twice and he is going today for 3rd dip. His skin is looking great and his hair is filling in very nicely. Zeke is basically a great dog. I got him as a 4 week old puppy. At the time his breed was told to me as being Australian Shepherd and Lab. As he has gotten older he is looking more like Pitbull and not Lab. I'm not really sure.
