Gia is a 2 year old female pit-bull. In the last few months my male pit bull and her have begun fighting. I'm so very worried that he will end up seriously hurting her. I am currently caring for her, however she is having to stay in a vacant apartment above me because I have other animals. She is a good dog with people. We love this dog SO much! I rescued him at 6 weeks old from someone who intended him for fighting. He's housebroken, will sit, shake and play dead on command. Our issue is that he's became overly protective of our 9 year old son. Last nite our boys were wrestling and Vern bit my 5 year. He thought he was protecting the older one.. I'm beside myself. Need to find a new home quickly as I have no room in my own home for her at this time nor the finances to take care of her. Elvis is a great pit bull! However, a friend of mine cannot take care of him any longer due to living situation. We have taken Elvis into our home, and had planned on being his forever home, but he is not getting along with our other 2 dogs (a pit bull and an aussie mix). This guy was in a home and left outside to starve on a chain. The shelter that took him in gave him to us to foster and then went belly up. We love him very much but he makes number six in this house. We would eventually like to try to foster and then adopt children, but we will not be able to with this many animals. hello this is my boy. i do not want to get rid of him but recently he has been to jealous over my two year old nephew. he is a good loving dog who just needs a good home. the only problems he has had with other dogs are when our saint benard starts it. kobe really is a great dog and just needs a home more for him. he is very playful and has never once bitten anyone aggresively. when he play bites he doesnt even bite down. he eats kibbles n bits. he may eat cheaper but we have never tried. if you dont change his water everyday he wont drink it. his food never lasts very long so you shouldnt have to worry about that. he loves people. I am desperate in trying to place this female apbt in a furever home .She has been through ALOT .. here is her story Roxy is a year and a half I'm thinking she was born Nov 9th 2009.I rescued her mother when she was pregnant and re homed all the puppies to great homes with contract signed for no breeding . no mistreating. picture updates every 6 months and drop in home visits if anyone had to re home these babies for ANY reason I was to be notified first so i cld find them a home to follow threw the same contract ).. When she was born i gave her to a guy(Josh a co worker of my mothers)that i thought was going to give her a good home ... (Read More)( married with a baby and signed contract )but left her in his basement with her sister(Nikki)he also had from me and they ran around in there own feces and urine (the only reason i know this is because the house he moved out of after his divorced a couple months later i moved into and the house was never cleaned they still had things left behind and the basement was horrible by the time i found this out he returned her to me) then the guy(Josh) moved in with another guy(Nick) Nick got into it with the Josh cause he left them on chains and did not feed them so he kicked him out and kept Roxys sister ... when he brought Roxy i was pissed and heart broken ... she was nasty dirty skinny and had a ring of hair missing from her throat from being on the chain for so long rubbed her fur off ... so i took her away nursed her back to health and gave her to another lady that i thought was going to give her a forever home same contract signed and she was married buying her own house and had 3 kids :( but she had her for a year and now can no longer have her ... lord shes been through alot and she is a very loving sweet girl but full of energy obviously cause she was always chained up even when she was with the other girl ..Roxy loves all people kids and babies but does not like female dogs small animals or cats she needs to be in a home with a family that has lots of love and attention to give her and a big backyard fenced in to run free NO CATS AND NO FEMALE DOGS the foster home she is in right now can not keep her much longer im pushing for her to til i find her a permanent loving home but her female does not get along with Roxy and they got into a scuffle in the middle of everything Roxy accidently bit her foster mom but most def did not do it purposely she needs some who has the time to work with her and who has understanding about the breed please please please help me i have tried everything i can not get ahold of any rescues that have any place for her or even help me place her idk wat else to do she is staying at my friends right now but they have to keep her separated from her female dog an at night have to kennel her recently on the 5th of july she ran out the door her child left the door open and was completely hit by a truck and drug under it she was rushed to the vet and treated and xrayed and is healing fine she went for her follow up visit on the 19th of July and the vet says she is recovering well my heart is hurting for her she deserves a loving family asap PLEASE HELP I HAVE NO OTHER RESOURCES AND THE LAST THING I WANT TO DO IS HAVE TO BRING HER TO THE Shelter where they will most def put her down :'( (Less) Delaware County Indiana

Sabo is in very good health have had her for 6 yr now she is just a one person dog. Good around male dogs temper mental with some females. Must be watched at all times would have to be someone that has the time to spend with her showing the ropes so to speak do not want to put her down but from the looks of it I'm not going to have a choice landlord has let the rental go back to bank and my lease is up have not found a house that will allow me to have my dogs. 'Tiny' is a sweet,6 month old Pitbull mix with a cute face and is reddish-brown with black markings on her face and tail. I discovered Tiny at a home where alcoholics and drug addicts lived. Tiny was only fed only about a cup of dry, stale food every other day out of an unwashed, filthy bowl that was used to feed 4 different other animals. She has not had any vaccinations that are known, and was kept imprisoned in a small cage 18 out of 24 hours a day in a dark room by her owner. She was also beaten and kicked in the ribs on a regular basis just because he would get angry. One days, Tinys' owner threw a beer bottle against the wall ... (Read More)causing pieces of glass to break all over the floor. He did not clean it up. Tiny stepped on a piece of glass that became embedded in her paw. No one helped her for 3 days. When I saw her, her rear left toe was swollen the size of 4 toes put together. The bacteria had started to eat away her flesh, leaving her tendons & bone exposed to the open air, her nail had fallen out from the nailbed, and infection was present. Her owner said he was going to 'Take her out back and shoot her in the head'. I took Tiny with me that night just to save her life not knowing how long she could stay, or if I could even keep her. I lost my job months earlier and can barely afford to feed the two dogs that I have, but I love animals and had to help her. I got donations from neighbors to help with the expense of a vet visit. I had already started her on some antibiotics that I had at home. The vet said he had never seen anything like it and suggested amputation. I could not afford this, so I kept doing daily dressing changes, foot soaks, and applying iodine and bacitracin. After a few weeks it is still sore but is healing up, the gaping wound no longer exposed. Tinys' toenail will never grow back, but she can walk normally again. In the few months she has been alive she has suffered enough for a lifetime. She needs a warm, loving home where she can be treated with love and affection. Tiny is very affectionate herself and always greets you at the door with such happinesss and enthusiasm, sometimes I think she will speak!!!! She gets along great with other dogs, playing and wrestling with them. She loves to snuggle and tilts her head sideways on your lap or against your neck just like a human child would do. Buster has been tied up in unhealthy conditions for 2 years. Currently his owners have sold the property and left Buster and another friend. When found his ears were eaten by flies, he had no clean water or a dry spot to lie down. Animal control will be confiscating his when it's definate the owners have abandoned him, then his fate is questionable due to his breed. Please help this good natured boy. Sadie is a very sweet, well trained pit - I unfortunately do not have the income to take care of her properly and my baby grandson and my daughter are allergic to her and my other Lab.
