Cali is 1 and a half years old and very sweet. She loves to cuddle and play with toys. She also enjoys running around outside so she really needs a fenced in yard. She is very good with being in a kennel while we are gone. She will chew on things if she is left out alone out of boredom. She is house trained and will sit by the door or next to you when she needs to go outside, she won't whine though. We just feel she deserves a family that has more time for her and can play with her more often. Also more room to run around. Crawford County Denison, IA MAP IT!

Hank is a very good dog. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old. We need to find him an adopted home because we have a new baby and an aging older pitbull. Hank has shown some impatience with our little girl but is great with our older dog. Hank is house broken and crate trained. We are willing to neuter him if that is a concern. Hank is mellow, enjoys looking out the window, and tug toys. We think he would be a great addition to an active home with older children, single or a couple. Shelby County Harlan, IA MAP IT!

Aires is a good dog. He is a beautiful reverse brindle. Due to breed specification(landlord does not like pitbulls) and also having a baby on the way I cannot keep him anymore. He gets along great with female dogs however he does not like small dogs. He is large weighing between 80-90 pounds. I do have pictures bit this site will not let ne download them. Lump has always been a very good dog. We have had him since he was four months old. We love him. He has always been very good with the kids, I have five. Lately, it seems he is getting slightly aggressive especially when he is lounging. I am starting to get afraid for my kids. My three year old got bit in his face this weekend and I can't stand the thought of that happening again. (He is fine) My entire family if very sad about this. We do not want to see Lump euthanized, he is a fantastic dog. Lump is black with a white chest. Someone once told us he is a red nosed pit-bull. I am not sure. I have to give her up because I cant keep her from getting out.If given to chance she will run.She has learned to open my screen door.This has been my only problem with her. Bruce is usually like a big teddy bear.He weighs 90ish lbs.Is white with brindle patches.I have Bruce's parents & Bruce was pick of the litter.Bruces gets along with my kids, adults,cats & 4 out of 5 of my dogs both males & females.About 2 weeks ago Bruce started getting agressive with my male dog.Last nite he put my dog in hospital.I do not want to euthanize such a good dog but the dog he hates is my personal dog so he can't stay in my home. I think Bruce is agressive with my dog due to being jealous of my dog. Never had any issues with other dogs, cats or people. I will post pictures soon. Jasper County Newton, IA MAP IT!

Diva is a blue nose pit bull. She is up to date in all of her shots. She is fixed so no puppies for her (sorry) She is great with my 9 year old child. Loves to play with my other two dogs. She is potty trained. I am in need to get rid of her because my school schedule and work schedule is not great to have a pet any longer. She is about 2 1/2 years old, and a very loving dog. Shi is a two year old, female red nose pit bull. She will be three in January. She is an amazing companion. Although Shilah has been through a lot, she is full of love and needs quite a bit of attention. She would probably do best with a single person or couple, she is a little anxious around most children. But Shi has been raised with my 7 year old sister and has done well with her. Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Iowa if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
