Found in the county. If you know his people please let them know he is here. This boy showed up in an man's barn, about an inch from death from being so malnourished. Luckily, that man was kind enough to take him in and nurse him back to health. He was great in the house, never became destructive, and is housetrained. This boy is so endearing and would make someone a wonderful life companion We were told Allen has been living with 4 Chihuahuas the last 2 weeks. I found a white Pit Bull the other night runnin the streets around my neighborhood. She was so cold and just skin and bones so I took her in and she is just the sweetest thing.... Very loveable, kinda jumpy and excited like a puppy. She looks like a pit bull but I have no idea where she came from or anything. It's almost as though she is ALBINO... she has some scrapes and stuff around her body and sometimes has labored breathing. She needs to see a VET ASAP but I am a single mom and have no means to pay for something like that. Mace is a good dog who needs a good loving family/owner. She is approx 5 years old, has no health concerns and has not yet been spayed. She has had one litter of puppies about a year ago and was noted to be very protective of her pups. Petey is a great dog. Good with kids and adults. He's 70lbs, white, and has a black spot over each eye, and two black spots on his rear. He is neutered and in great health. My wife and I found him around our yard and have kept him for a few months. We have another dog and just don't have time for both of them. They get along great though. Madrox is under 1 year old.Male. Not neutered, not vetted. Lab/pit cross. Black, with white and black flecking patch on chest. Dexter likes to play, but when he plays with other dogs, since he doesn't have much human interaction, he shows resource aggression for his toys. He does not like to share. I do believe that this is fixable given his age, but recommend he be the only pet in the home, and since he likes to jump up to give you lovin' I would suggest homes with children 8 years old and up, and no frail people, please. His owner says if he is not placed by Saturday 10/15/11 she will call animal control and tell them he is aggressive, which will put him on their euth list immediately. There is no rehoming fee for Madrox, just require that you be patient, teach him better than he's known, make him a part of the family indoors not a yard ornament, and love him. Annie was found in a BSL town running at large, her owners found out she was at the shelter and did not claim her. In order to keep her from being PTS we rescued her when her 6 day hold was up. There is nothing wrong with this loving, sweet dog, I have no idea why an owner would not claim her. She is good in the house and crate. She will challenge a chain link kennel but does fine in our kennels. We are working on getting her better around cats. Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Kansas if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
