[Read About Natural Cancer Care] Hello, and thank you proactively for your presence with this. My name is Sohail and I am a resident of Minneapolis. It's with a heavy heart that I am writing this email on behalf of myself, my partner Micah, and his wonderful pit bull Dolly. We are seeking assistance with Sheltering/Rehoming Dolly due to the following situation, and are wanting any help with how to do about doing this. Micah and Dolly moved in with me on Friday, where they have been living in a small city in Alabama for the past year. Micah rescued Dolly on the first day he moved back with his family after finding her malnourished and very ill by a river by his house. He took Dolly in and tended to her back to health, and later found out she was pregnant with 8 puppies :) She's a loving, sweet calm girl, and has only been around the presence of Micah's family and two of the puppies that she birthed. We thought long and hard about her moving with him to the city, and we landed brining her here because his parents were not able to tend to her. I personally have a rescue dog as well, who has lived with me for three years. Her name is Beard. Beard has been around many dogs and is a very loving and calm dog as well, so we both were very hopeful that they would be well together. We did an array of research regarding introducing new dogs to each other, and came at this with a very optimistic lens. On the first night of introductions it was very clear that Dolly was very aggressive on leash around Beard and we're not concerned about her safety. My ex has her now, and after a very long and hard reflection we're needing assistance to find Dolly a new home and not sure where to go. Micah is rightfully distraught over this, and we've tried to leverage the help of his family back in Alabama, but they're simply not able to take her back. In my apartment complex we also have neighbors who have a small dog, and we're also concerned about her safety. This is all so very hard because Dolly has been such a loving, calm, sweet dog around me as a new person in her life, and has always been that way back home. I am very very hopeful that you're able to assist in this process because we're not sure where to go from here. Is this something you can assist with? Do you know of any other resources that I can reach out to? I would love to have a conversation with you if you'd prefer to chat via phone - my cell is 920-216-3322. Thank you so very much, and really hoping to connect soon. Dolly is also now cancer free :) Best, (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-24-00006King (male)
I am in search of a rescue organization or foster home to take in a sweet, beautiful, pit bull named King, who is almost 2 years old. He's a really nice dog (and this is coming from a cat person!) He's friendly, playful, and cuddly with people. However, he doesn't get along very well with other dogs, so I think he would do well in a single-dog household. My client loves his dog a lot, but due to his mental illness and other factors such as living in a small apartment, he is not able to adequately handle or train King. He has made the difficult decision to surrender King to a happy forever home. We took him to the Humane Society today, but they said that due to his problems getting along with other dogs, they could not take him for adoption and if we left him there, he would be euthanized. At my client's request, I am searching for a rescue, foster home, or new forever home for his beloved doggie. (Less)

so misty is a super cute and loving dog. we rescued her from a coworker he neglected her and treated her horribly. she was attacked as a puppy and was left with some brain damage, a blind eye, and some scars. we took her to the vet right away where she got her vaccinations, and was treated for a ear and urine infection. we've also got her to put on weight in the short time we've had her. she is chipped and spayed. she knows sit, stay, and shake. if she's distracted she doesn't always to it. pottying has been a challenge for us. the vet had run multiple tests to see why she keeps going in the house but have found nothing yet. I think the next step would be a thyroid test or a brain scan. we don't know how bad the damage is. we've tried to get her as healthy as we could before adopting her out. she just needs a good, loving home! a kennel, toys, collar, food and water bowl, food (if any left) and some other stuff with her (Less)

We are looking for an amazing family to continue raising Miley. Our landlord has put his foot down and is giving us a limited time to find a home for Miley before calling pet control. We are also interested in finding a family to foster Miley until we are able to find a home in the area that allows pets. 320-434-0117

Animal ID: 16-08-28-00014Bella (female)
Bella is the most loving and affectionate dog I've ever met. She loves kids, will play with even Teacup size dogs and not hurt them, and let's our cats literally walk on her. She is a very special dog. But she must have a place where she can run. We moved to town and have a fence but she just jumps over it. She is an expert at escaping, and we hate tieing dogs up, but she even finds a way to get off a tether. She is a 50lb tank but sweet and gentle. She will be free to a rescue group, any individual will need to pay a fee and have a home inspection and interview. At this point we are giving her a new home because she is being picked-up by the police and it's very expensive. But we worry more about her being hit by a car or picked-up by the wrong person. Please help Bella. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-18-00657Brandi (female)
Brandi is a beautiful loving female American Pitbull. We rescued her nearly a year ago hoping that she would fit in with our other dogs. At first Brandi was ok, but over the last 4 months or so, it seems that Brandi cannot be living in a multi dog family. Although its not all the time, she has attacked our other two older dogs and caused wounds to them. Brandi would be fabulous in an only dog situation. She loves cuddles, loves to run with you and loves to be around her humans. Brandi cannot be crated at all as she has issues after being crated 24/7 by her previous owner. It breaks my heart to have to find her a new home, but I have to protect my other dogs too. Do you have a space in your heart for this gorgeous girl? (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-01-18-00451Daisy (female)
aisy was a stray found in St Paul, and brought to the St Paul AHS . She was actually a dog known to the AHS community outreach person. Daisy had a microchip, but sadly was not reclaimed by her family. She was living with children, no cats, and she does seem very excited by the sight of small animals, but her attention can be redirected . She is particularly easy to walk when using a Gentle Leader, and is becoming a much calmer dog than when we first got her. She's very responsive to the training sessions at Happy Tails on Monday nights and is currently successful in her day care play groups. She's going to be the love of someone's life soon, I can tell by her wishing to please personality that has recently emerged. http://www.tailsrescue.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=9348231 (Less)

Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
