Moses is a 4 1/2 year old pure bred red nose brindle pit bull. He recently lost his home and is in need of a new one ASAP or will be euthanized due to having three legs, and not good with younger children. He is okay with going on walks and not showing aggression toward other dogs but doesn't do too good with other big dogs in a house, he did grow up with a little jack Russell terrier. Moses is a very sweet boy and very laid back indoors, but sort of likes to pull when on walks even though he only has three legs he's still got a good pull. He really ... I have been fostering her for the last six months trying to teach her how to live with other animals. However, ... (Read More)she is very unpredictable with other animals and she MUST be the only animal in the home. She is wonderful with all people though and would make someone a wonderful pet where she can be the only pet in the home. Lucy is a very strong girl and should not live with young children due to this. I am not able to keep her for much longer as she has to be separated at all times from my other animals. I am trying to find a home very soon as I am afraid she could be euthanized if I send her back to the shelter. Lucy is currently located near New Ulm, MN. PIease Read Before Adopting a Pit Bull in Minnesota
Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous.
