This sweet boy is a dog that my cousin has been feeding, but she can no longer afford food for him and wants to find him a new FURever home!! She says she thinks he is already neutered. Yoda was found tied to a tire with barbed wire in Memphis, TN. He has been with his foster mom since October 2011. He had multiple health issues when found that are now resolved. He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. He is very low maintenance and loves to lounge around the house. He is good in the car as well. He is now 100% potty trained and walks on a leash well. I found this dog on the side of the road he was starving and had some scrapes. I've had him for about two weeks and he is healing up really nicely but I just graduated college and I'm not ready to be a dog owner so I want him to find a good home with people who know how to deal with pitbulls. He is really sweet and good natured with people, and he is already potty trained, but he does not play well with other animals. This very sweet little guy was found on the side of Hwy 220 curled up next to his mother who had been run over. I seem to be his first experience with people, but he is coming around great and is a very sweet and loving puppy. I have two other dogs, a great dane and a jack russell, both of which he is getting along great with. He is fully vaccinated, and is in leash training and doing great! Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Mississippi if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
