Very pretty chocolate brindle pitbull needs a loving home with no dogs or other small animals. She is around 45 pounds and very active. I really have no idea how old she is - seems to have had a few litters. Shyla is a very sweet and loving girl but she has issues with aggression towards other dogs, especially females. (She actually gets along well with my 18 month old male pitbull but constantly asserts her dominance over him.) Someone dumped her in our yard last Spring. (Read More)aggressive, especially towards other females. She had a nasty fight with my brother's female pit mix last summer before I realized they couldn't be together. Then she killed a three month old female puppy that we wrongly assumed was not a threat to her. Just recently she killed our two year old ten pound male dog. (Having a dog aggressive dog has been a real learning experience - a very sad one.) We finally get the fact that she can NEVER be left alone with another dog, not even for five minutes. Buddy hopped into my husband's car in Blue Springs Dec 10, 2011, along with his collie friend. People in the area assumed they had been dumped together, as they just spontaneously showed up with two empty food bowls by the side of the road. They were bewildered, standing in the street and nearly getting hit by cars over and over. She is listed separately. Buddy is fantastic! He is calm, friendly, kissy, likes men, women, and kids. He walks very well on a leash, we have not even used a choke chain either. He will sit and shake on command, he is potty trained. He loves chew toys and being petted and snuggled. He was neutered recently and has ... (Read More)all his shots and vaccines, including bordatella. He is 65 lbs and the vet estimates he is a year and a half old. He was groomed at Pete & Macs today, and showed no dog aggression while there. He did not have the opportunity to play, but had several dogs near him, and passing in front of him on the grooming side and did not show any aggression or undue interest/ excitement. We have all fallen hard for Buddy, but cannot keep him, as we are at our limit for dogs already. I have not tested him with our other dogs, as we have two 150 lb male Great Pyrenees who do not take well to other male dogs. I need to place Buddy in a good, loving home, with responsible people who will take his safety seriously and who have a good fenced in yard for him. He is short coated and will need to be an indoor pet, not a backyard dog. And, again, he IS potty trained! Please call me if you can give Buddy a good home. I would like a home visit, and references. I rescued Princess from a person that was going to be arrested for having her in a town that prohibits pit bulls. If I didn't take her she would have to be put to sleep. She had babies 6 mo. ago. She tries to get my cats so I keep her on a leash even inside the house. She doesn't get along with my smaller dogs but does with my bigger dogs. She also tries to get my chickens. Jasmine has been a member of our family for the last 10 years. We love her very much, but we are moving and cannot take her due to zoning at our new location. She is very dominant with other dogs, uses cats as chew toys, but is wonderful with babies, children and adults. We want a loving family to adopt her. Someone who will love her as much as we do. This 7-8 month old female was found wandering the streets near my mother's home. We have not been able to locate the owner, and unfortunately my mother, nor I, can keep her. She is potty trained, and seemingly well behaved. Friendly with adults, however, we do not know how she acts around children or other animals, (my mother has no other pets). She walks nicely on a leash. Please let us know if you would like to have this little girl. (She is tan with brown eyes). Shadow is a very sweet pitbull or possibly a mix. She and her sister Jasmine are around 5 mos old and were dumped near my place. She is very friendly to adults and children. Jasmine is a white pitbull female approximately 5 mos old. Very loving, very obedient. She knows how to sit and walk on the leash. She and her sister were found in the road. Jasmine was bleeding from a cut on her face. We took her to the vet and she had to have stitches. She is in good health otherwise and the vet said she seemed to be well taken care of. Jasmine just wants to be somebody's baby. I don't want to have to take these puppies to the pound but I have 3 other dogs and a cat. I will return the call of serious inquiries. Tator is a very loving Pittbull. Our new landlord does not allow dogs so we are looking for a new home for him. He does get allergies but other than that no problems. Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
