|Rescue Me ID: 18-04-04-00398Corina (female)|
8 yr old female American Pit Has always been an inside dog, she dislikes being cold and is afraid of storms. Vaccinations are current. She is passionate when playing with balls, ropes, loves wood including logs and even rocks. And loves to snuggle under blankets. She listens well to basic commands and gives high fives. She's not only very smart and understanding but an all around a great dog. She also has been known to express her love / hate relationship with squirrels, cats, and recently smaller dogs. I've resuced her approx. 6 yrs ago and as well later on adopted a American Bulldog Dog which they became great companions for approx. 4 years . She does well with male and female dogs of all breeds with the exception of smaller dogs. Not gonna say there hasn't been some dominant issues but it's always seemed to have worked it's self out, between the dogs in a short amount of time. Due to the city ordinance I am no longer to keep her. She is currently being housed in the Lincoln area with family, but with them already having 2 larger dogs they can not keep her permanently. Corina was also spayeded as a young pup, therefore I believe that is a factor in her playful character. Enjoys runs as well as car rides. She loves and tolerates all children, never has it been a concern. She is white and black spotted and on the one side of her the black spot is in the shape of a heart. She Truly Is A Big Hearted Girl. (Less)

Blue nosed pitbull. Male. Neutered. Microchipped. Kennel trained. Potty trained. Loves kids. Loves to go on walks. Still very much a puppy. Needs to be in a privacy fence back yard. He will jump and scale a chain link fence. He weighs 60 pounds. He will grow a bit more and fill out some more. I would guess he will gain another 10-15 pounds. He wants to please. |Rescue Me ID: 17-12-22-00198Kiya (female)|
Meet Kiya! This beauty is guessed to be between 3-4 years old and weighs around 63 pounds. She is a big fan of treats, loves everyone she meets, and offers that perfect blend of energy and complacency. Kiya has energy to go for long walks, short runs, chase toys and balls in the backyard but will also sleep in with you on weekends and curl up next to you on the couch to watch a movie. She does fantastic in the car and going for car rides is one of her favorite activities! She is good with kids, would prefer to be an only pet, and needs a cat free home. The ideal family for Kiya will provide her with daily exercise, continue her on-going training and have a fenced yard for her to run and play in. Kiya comes to Revolution Rescue from a Kansas shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized due to lack of space. She is crate and house trained, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. Pictures of Kiya are available on the rescue website www.revolutionrescue.com. If you are interested in meeting Kiya, just fill out an application on our website www.revolutionrescue.com and we will be in touch! $225 adoption fee. (Less)

Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Nebraska if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
