Roxy is a very obedient and sweet girl. Re-homing her because she does not get along with my other dog.

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-11-00153 (male)
This dog was adopted by someone else from the local pound - guessing he was severely abused based on his timidness and lack of trust til he knows you a few days; he was abandoned at the ranch once & a hired man took him in; and he was recently left again when the guy quit...winter is coming and he needs a home with room to play (he does love to jump around & act like a puppy), he lived next door to little kids & never bothered them, he gets along with other dogs/cats & has never once chased cattle, horses or vehicles. He appears to be @ 8 or 9 years old, full pitbull but has never once tried to bite anyone - again, the abuse he must have suffered from many years prior makes him very shy & timid but still loves to be petted & will walk along with you playing around. I own 3 businesses, travel a lot and already have pets or I would take him - I just can't justify not being able to spend enough quality time w/him to make him feel comfortable & loved! We are looking for a home for him - serious inquiries only please. And please understand: there will be a good deal of patience needed for trust to develop but it will be worth it to someone who needs a companion! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-10-00521Coach (male)
This is Coach! He is a wonderful boy who is pretty low energy most of the time. He loves all people, especially kids. He walks very well on leash, but he also loves to run around on his own. He is generally okay with other dogs, but only as long as he meets them off leash. Occasionally he cannot handle the dog park and becomes somewhat aggressive toward other dogs, but not immediately dangerous. When I adopted him 6 months ago, I underestimated the responsibility of being a full time college student with a part time job, and I thought I could rescue a dog. Unfortunately, I know he is not living the best life he can in my small apartment. He would love to have a yard to run around and play with his family in. I've been working with him a lot and he responds very well to commands in situations with moderate to low distraction. He is not in danger at all, and I will keep him until I find a suitable home, similar to a foster dog. If you have any questions, please contact me! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-03-00427Remmi (female)
Remmi is a very lovable, cuddly dog. She loves to spend her free time running in the park, swimming at the lake, or snuggling under blankets with her owner. I am actively trying to re home Remmi due to the fact I was forced to move into a 1 bedroom apartment and am unable to provide the lifestyle that she deserves. She gets anxious around children, but would make an amazing companion adults.

Rescue Me ID: 17-09-28-00400Mama (female)
rescued her from humane society 3 years ago. Relocated with new job and found out last minute I couldn't take her with me. Words don't describe how it feels to have to give her up. She's staying with my cousin in Omaha but time is running out there. Please call me if interested and have a living home for her. Thank you

Rescue Me ID: 17-09-19-00068Crew (male)
Meet Crew! Crew is a 1.5-2 year old who weighs 52 pounds and his breed mix is anyone's guess. He is very attached to his blanket and loves to take it with him throughout the house. Crew loves to be around people and won't hesitate to curl up next to you on the couch and lick your face. He has been fantastic around people, kids and other dogs he has met and had little to no reaction to a cat while at the vet. Crew can be shy when meeting new people but quickly overcomes his shyness after a few minutes. The ideal family for Crew will provide him with daily exercise, continue with his training and have a fenced yard for him to run and play in. Crew comes to Revolution Rescue from a Kansas shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized due to being fearful and a lack of space. Crew is crate and house trained, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. If you are interested in adopting Crew complete an application from our website at www.RevolutionRescue.com and we will be in touch! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-09-07-00348Karma (female)
Karma has been apart of my family for 5 years now but due to a change in family circumstances I can no longer provide the home she deserves. She is a very sweet dog but would be better placed in a home where she is the only dog and no small children around due to her high energy level. She has anxiety being left alone and needs constant affection.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Pit Bull in Nebraska
Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Nebraska if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
