Sasha is a very loving and sweet dog. She really enjoys human companions and has never shown any aggression toward them. Sasha is a wonderful guard dog. She only barks when she can hear someone approaching. We adopted Sasha from the Humane Society about nine months ago. She was not socialized very well as a puppy so she can be dominant around other dogs, especially big ones. However, Sasha is very responsive to training. She did live with a smaller dog for a while and did well with it. We have become too busy to give Sasha the amount of attention she needs. Sasha knows sit, shake, stay and lay down. Needed to find a new home for my pet. He has been with us since a puppy. I have recently become a single mother and he is just to much dog for me to handle. He has never shown aggression towards my children but I am a bit leary of other children around him. He is potty trained and is used to going in an outside dog run. I have a beautiful black and white American Pit Bull named Tyson who needs to find a home. We got him when he was only 7 weeks old. He is the biggest cuddle bug ever but sometimes forgets he is not a lap dog! I recently had a baby and just do not have the time to devote all of my energy to him anymore. I hate to see him go but it is that time. :-( He is awesome with children and other dogs once he gets used to them. Sox's is a wonderful companion however she is more then I can handle. Her original owner could no longer take care of her and left her with me. However I have other pets in the house that she is beginning to bully. She has some aggression issues when it come to food, treats, and chews. She is very territorial of her yard and barks when anyone comes near the house whether she is inside or out. She does wonderfully with other dogs as long as there is no food in site. blonde, red nose female, we call her greed-ie need-ie, the more you can pet on her the more she loves it. great with kids, does jump a little, but is water bottle trained. fully house broke, does well on lease. We are in a situation that requires us to adopt out our wonderful APBT. We have had PorkChop since the day she was born. She is a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier registered through the ADBA. She is very wonderful with us and our small children. She has been our 'protector' and watchdog so I am unsure how she may behave with strangers. I was looking for a new home for a friends dog and had found someone possibly interested then last night the backdoor didnt get latched and she got out, she was taken by the cops to the shelter in Scottsbluff, I dont have the 125 to get her out and they said they wont adopt her out because of her breed, I'm heartbroken at the thought of her getting put down but dont know what to do, i just dont have the money......i'd be happy to sign her over to anyone that can afford it, she is a great dog and gets along well with my 2 and 6 year old boys, and my 2 other dogs and adult female pitt and female chihauhua..... they only gave me until noon ... Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Nebraska if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
