Husker is a pit bull mix. He is a cuddler and loves his human companions. He knows commands such as sit, ready, and comes in from outside when called. Completely housebroken too! He was found as a stray at a few months old, but has been in the same home since. He's traveled, spent time in the mountains and is curious. He should not be in a home with other animals, he's never had any issues with people but has shown some jealous with animals/food/toys... He must go to a pet free home, but he has so much love to give you.

I am a veterinarian that has saved several dogs from being put to sleep from a high kill shelter in Kansas. Bella is the most beautiful dog, loving and sweet but very eager to play ball. She had come a long way with basic training, but she still needs work. Bella is good with male dogs but not so much cats - she thinks mine are big squirrels to chase. Great with people and kids, no food or toy aggression, wonderful on a leash for walks. She needs a big fenced back yard to run and play to burn off her energy. Let me know if you are interested in meeting this amazing baby girl! !

PIease Read Before Adopting a Pit Bull in Nebraska
Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Nebraska if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.

lnteresting Pit Bull Trivia Low-Cost Nebraska Spay & Neuter Clinics
Some people believe that Pit Bulls are identical to what Bulldogs were in the past. Unfortunately, Pit Bulls are often used for illegal dog fighting. A disproportionate number of Pit Bulls are put down in major American cities each year. American Pit Bull Terriers are very similar, and some argue identical, to Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
