Truly amazing companion, NEEDS TO GO OUTSIDE OFTEN. Loves being unleashed and running, running, running! He will sit, lay down, give either paw, and stand up upon request. He's living in a small apartment right now and needs much more room to explore and be himself without restriction. Owner should be knowledgeable of the breed and dogs and general. Lola is a very sweet dog. My boyfriend and I rescued her from a very abusive home. She was neglected and not fed very much. She has been with me for 6 months in my home. She gets along with my other dog but needs to be watched when she is eating. She is very high energy and she needs to go for walks everyday. She is a lovebug. She loves to cuddle and sit on your lap. Tyche has been my best friend for the past four years of my life. She unforunately i have found that with my son starting to walk around she is to aggressive with him but she is a great dog and i want her to find a forever home that will treat her like the best friend that she is please call me if you can help. This is a 6 month old male pitbull. He is my best friends dog. she can no longer keep him due to housing. i have had him for 3 weeks and need to find him a home ASAP. I have 4 of my own pitbulls and cannot care for another. I dont want to bring him to a shelter because i am afraid they will put him to sleep because he is a pitbull. I have been fostering Dutchess for 4-1/2 yrs. She is a red American Staffordshire Terrier and she is absolutely amazing. She is OK with some dogs but I never know which dog she'll be good with so she is better off the only dog or only with a male dog. NO cats! She is great around my nephew and other kids she's been around. Great with people! She is up to date on all shots/spayed etc. Unfortunately, due to the economy and my pay being cut in half, I am unable to afford to take care of her any longer. (Read More)was found wandering the streets of Cranston, RI when a friend of mine who trained animals at the shelter took her home since she was due to be euthenized. He had another dog and they didn't get along so he called me and I took her in. She is trained well (hand signals and spoken commands)Such as: Sit, down, speak, spin left, spin right, belly up, come, stay. She loves to walk, run next to my bike, hike, play, and lay in the sun. She will do whatever you do as long as she's with you she's happy! She will get in the water reluctantly if you go in with her but does not enjoy it. She will take a bath no problem and lets me clip her nails easy. She is not food aggressive although she loves it, and may steal your food if you put in on a coffee table and leave the room! She takes a weekly dose of Estradiol which is an Estrogen used in the treatment of urinary incontinence in dogs. The pills are $18 for a 30 week supply. Very cheap and she hasn't had any accidents since she started it in January 2011. This is her only health issue. I am hoping by posting this I will not have to take her to a shelter because she deserves to be with someone great! I have tons more pix if you would like to see more. Vegas is a sweet, loving girl who needs a forever home. She has a high energy level and loves to play with people and other dogs. She has displayed signs of anxiety (doesn't like to go outside without owner, cries when owner is away). She is very food motivated and is easily trainable with enough patience and treats. She loves to cuddle and likes to be the center of attention. She is good with children but has not been around children under 5 years old. She is good with other dogs, and it is unknown about cats. Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Rhode Island if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
