Zoe is a fun little girl with LOTS of energy to burn. She is a 2 1/2 year old English pointer mix, medium sized. She'd be a great jogging partner and loves, loves, loves to play ball. If you have some active kids that could keep her busy, she'd make a great family dog. OR if you're looking to train a hunter, she has lots of potential. She loves running in and out of the shelterbelts and could be trained to flush birds out. Her nose is always to the ground and she seems to have endless energy. She's still learning to recall, but is doing very well. She has all the right tools to be a great hunter but just needs someone to teach her how ... (Read More)to use them. She needs work on recall. She doesn't like cats, so a home with cats is not recommended. A home with older kids would be best because of her high energy level. She is up to date on shots and spayed. Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in South Dakota if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
