The microchip is not registered yet so who ever takes him home can do that. He is very sweet and loves to cuddle. I have 2 other dogs myself and cannot keep him. This is a very sweet gentle pit bull dog that someone evidently dropped off in our neighborhood. She appears to have recently had a litter of puppies and probably just got them weaned when she was dropped off. She has a faded collar on and her nails have been trimmed neatly. I'm sorry that there is no photo of Cocoa Bean. She is a beautiful dog, as I will describe below. Please don't let this sway you. It's no fault of her's and there's no reason not to try. There's always having her adopted again, if it doesn't work out. Cocoa Bean is an extremely intelligent, very lovey, very submissive, seemingly unfixed female. She is apparently half pit bull and half rottweiler. Her temperament is predominately submissive, and sadly scared. She loves to show affection, she is very curious. She is perfectly happy with dry food and has been getting alternately fed with Pedigree Wholesome and Purina Little Bites for ... (Read More)Indoor Dogs. Her fur is mostly black with faint rottweiler markings, and her black toes are snowy white. Her toes are the only white on her. She is beautiful. A perfectly proportioned, lovely conformation, pretty face, beautiful golden/orange eyes. She does have a few very small scars. I have no idea what they're from, but I can only imagine it was abuse. I wish we could keep her but we can't. We can't afford to feed her long term. What puts her in danger is her intelligence. It is strongly recommended that she have a tall fence, with no holes underneath, enclosing her, or she be tied with a free runner. She has avoided capture every time (considerable number, BTW) that animal control comes for her, and has their trap figured out. There is a neighbor here who is threatening to kill her and, if she is caught, she will be euthanized due simply to her breed. She is the opposite of everything you hear about pit bulls. She is loving, intelligent, submissive, gentle, and wants to be loved. Someone, please give this baby a home. We can only do so much and we can't stand to give up on her. I have been working with her and should be able to catch her, if she is loose when you come to get her. An update on this baby's progress. She is getting used to the idea of the back yard and the house, meaning that it won't be so hard to teach these things. Cocoa Bean is such a lovely little girl. She seems to be no older than 2, maybe 3, years old. She is friendly, affectionate, protective, beautiful, submissive, loving, and fun. She loves kids and people. She's not picky about food. She is intelligent and understands what she's not allowed to get into after just a little talking to her. I would take her in a heartbeat, if I could. We found Tux running lose in our neighborhood. He was dragging his leash and his collar was way too tight. When we called to him, he jumped right in the car and started licking our faces! He's the sweetest Pit Bull I've ever met.Just a big baby who wants attention. He is black with a white tux, hence the name. We checked him for a micro chip, but there was none.No ID tag either. He's havng to stay in the outside pen and it's cold. Also, I unfortunately can't afford to feed him because I have 2 other pets. He needs a loving home and lots of care and exercise.
