Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Arthritis

Charlie is a great dog! We recently adopted him from the humane society and he has been really great for our family. Recently he tore his ACL and we just dont have the money to fix it. We would love for him to go to a good home where they can either provide him with the surgery or can be more capable at dealing with his ailment. He is great with people, we have a 9 month old daughter and he is so patient with her and has never acted aggressively towards her. He is okay with other dogs but just seems as he doesnt know how to interact with them but is not aggressive. He needs lots of attention and will beg for it any chance he gets. Please ... Pit Bull Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Little Bit, this sweet girl had a bit of a rough life. She was hit by a car causing a pretty substantial injury to her back leg, her owners did nothing for it and Little Bit became very painful. She was confiscated from her family and brought into rescue. Little Bit went in for surgery and is recovering well. This girl is just the sweetest thing in the world. She loves all people including kids, she adores other dogs, and enjoys cuddling with kitties. Because of her injury she will need a family willing to give her the time she needs to heal, she won't be able to do any crazy activity. She is a low energy dog, and would do well with a ... Rescue Me ID: 14-09-29-00571Marley - Enoch Foster (male)

Pit Bull Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Marley seems to be pretty young, probably around year, 2 at the most. He looks a bit like a pit, but has the lab body and coloring. His fur is very short. He is great with other dogs and kids (there are both in his foster home). He is house and crate trained. He is a very happy and playful guy. He likes to play with other dogs and would be a great dog to take to the dog park. He is not good with cats and seems to have a prey drive for them so a home without cats is a must. He LOVES to play and would love a home with children to play with. An active home would best suite him. He is mellow too, but he loves to run around and play. He is a good ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Pit Bull in Utah
Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Utah if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.

lnteresting Pit Bull Trivia Low-Cost Utah Spay & Neuter Clinics
Some people believe that Pit Bulls are identical to what Bulldogs were in the past. Unfortunately, Pit Bulls are often used for illegal dog fighting. A disproportionate number of Pit Bulls are put down in major American cities each year. American Pit Bull Terriers are very similar, and some argue identical, to Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
