Notorious is approx. 18 months old. She is light tan with white markings. She also has a pink and brown nose. She is a gentle, loving pup that will ask to go outside to use the bathroom and to play. Notorious chews things up when left alone. Anything!Everything! Once she got caught in the bathroom while I was gone. She chewed the bottom of the door off to get out. She has chewed my sofa cushion, a feather-top mattress cover, the carpet, stuffed animals, and dug a hole into a mattress. She does it when people are not home. I read it was from bordom. Everyone has grown and moved out. I cannot address her bordom. To keep her from chewing up my house, I tried leaving her in a chain-link kennel... she pulled the chain away from the corner posts. She also dug a hole to get under the fence. The dog catcher reported she got loose from his kennel so he put her in the truck crate. He called her Houdini when my daughter went to pick her up. I tried leashing her to a cable. She chewed her leash so I used a second cable. It worked, but she cried so much, the neighbors complained... another visit from animal control! We rescued Notorious from neglect a little more than a year ago. I thought she would grow out of the chewing. I have not invested time into behavior training. I work long hours. This is beautiful Princess! There are so many ways that she wants to be a good, loving dog but her first family was not prepared to provide her the attention and training she needs. I have an almost 1 year old puppy named Pepper that I need to find a new home for. She was born 01-13-2011. I have her parents, she came out of a litter that was just her. Her dad is a Black American Staffordshire Terrier and her mom is a pure white blue nose American Pit Bull. Both are papered. We decided how special a 1 pup litter was and decided immediately to keep her. We have known she was deaf early on, but have tried to work with her, finding that between work, kids and other pets, that we unfortunately just don't have the time for her. I do believe that if you are looking for an average family pet, Pepper is NOT what you are looking for. I do have to warn you though, deaf dogs can be a bit rough while playing with people and or other pets being that they can't hear the outcome, such as if they nip to hard... Doja is a great dog, she just needs a big yard to run around in and kids to play with. She does like to jump up on people, and we have tried to get her to stop, she just needs more training that she hasn't had. She does talk to you though. You can ask her to tell you 'I love you' and she will do it. Same with 'good girl' 'I want it' and 'please' You have to say tell and then what ever you want her to tell you. She does bark when you say 'tell me' so we say shhhh say it quietly, be quiet and she does it. She knows 'sit' and 'stay' but she sometimes doesn't stay when you want her too. We got Tank after he had been neglected at two years old. This October 10th he will be five. He is the most loving and affectionate dog we've ever had. He will lay and cuddle with you for hours. He is really good with our other two dogs and the rest of our families dogs. With new dogs he becomes defensive and protective unless introduced carefully. Bolt is a very friendly boy, who just needs someone to give him some time. He's smart and wants to please. He gets along with other dogs unless they are dominant and push his buttons. The more time you spend with him the more you like him. Bolt was schedualed for euthanization but we were ablet o put it off for now. He is learning his basic commands like sit, stay, down, and come. Sugar is an extremely good dog we just can't keep her any longer. Very sad to see her go but I have two babies and cannot take the time out for her that she deserves. She stays in the yard and is well behaved around children/babies. She is an indoor/outdoor dog. She can't get enough attention and is better in a single dog home although she plays well with our two Chihuahuas. NO other big female dogs! Lady is a beautiful, intelligent, sensitive and loving dog. She is house trained and has no problems. She comes from a loving and caring home and has had the best care, nutrition and health care. The only reason we are looking for a new home for her is because we have 5 dogs and have to get rid of one. My daughter has a baby and she is afraid of the reputation pitt bulls have and is uncomfortable about Lady. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
