9 month old put puppy (possibly pure breed) who was rescued from a local shelter within minutes of being abandoned. He is beyond great with kids (at least from 3 and up), wants to be a lap dog (even though he is 50+ lbs), and is kennel trained. He is still working on the house training part! He usually does fine with other dogs (we have a 90+ lb shar pei/Catahoula mix that he is usually best buddies with. They have had disagreements a few times, though. Baby Girl is a sweet female pit bull. I have been fostering baby girl since November and she has a lot to offer. Baby was abused and neglected by her previous owner. As a result of her history she is a bit nervous in new situations and has a hard time trusting humans. Grace is a beautiful and sweet little girl and is around 3 1/2 years old. I rescued Grace and her 4 pups from a high kill shelter almost 2 years ago and unfortunately haven't found a home for grace. He should be fed alone in with a family that has other dogs; he thinks 'My toys and food are mine and I don't want to share.' Outside of food/toys, he does not show issues with other dogs at all. I've spent lots of time with him- he's seen squirrels, dogs, cats, and two deer (I took him to Rock Creek for a good run). He NEVER BARKS at other animals or people in the country or in the city.
