Rescue Me ID: 15-05-04-00587Tessa (female)
Tessa is a black with some white young 8-9 month old pit lab mix. She is playful and seems to get along with al the other dogs. She was picked up in Kimball as a stray and the owners refused to claim her even though they were contacted. She has an easy going attitude and wants to be included in all the activity going on. She can jump as high as my fence but to date has not gone over it yet.

Rescue Me ID: 15-03-31-00094Daisy (female)
Daisy is a wonderful girl, who through no fault of her own is with us for the third time. She is good with some other dogs, and has had playmates but can be picky about who she likes. Aren't we all? She is housebroken and heartbroken to be back. She is a wiggle butt and so loving towards humans. Because of her breed a very thorough background check is required. We only want the best for her in a very forever home.

Rescue Me ID: 15-03-28-00012Titus (male)
Titus is a good dog when we are home but when we leave he likes to chew things up. He is good around our kids. We would love to keep him but right now at this point in time we do not have the resources to fully train him. We have tried a plastic kennel with him but unfortunately he chewed threw it. I believe that he has anxiety attacks when we leave, which is why he starts chewing things up. He is very protective over the family and close friends that are around him. We tried to get him to stay on the leash when we took him outside but he forces his way out of the collars or eventually breaks the collars. Recently, he got out of our yard and got very protective of our female pit bull, which resulted in him trying to bite the animal control officer. He is not a vicious dog in any degree, he is just protective that's all. We are hoping to find someone that wants to take him and give him the life that we cannot at the time. Someone who can fully train him, let him run in the yard and overall wants to love him. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-19-00252Chances R (male)
Chances R is a one year old white with brown spot over right eye. He is playful. Seems to get along with most of the dogs but will occasionally growl at a male dog who acts in an aggressive manner. He has not bothered my farm fowl or livestock. Comes when called and likes to ride in the car. He was picked up as a stray wandering in Kimball.

Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Wyoming if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
