Rescue Me ID: 12-01-26-00204Libby (female)

Pit Bull Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Libby is a 1year old spayed female boston terrier pocket pitbull mix. We saved her from deathrow in California and she is now seeking her forever home. She is a wonderful little dog, house and crate trained. She love playing with other dogs. She is great with women but was beat by a man so she is a little shy of them at first but once she warms up to them(which doesn't take long) she is great. We have not had her around a lot of kids but the ones we did she was a little nervous around I think older kids would be best for her or kids that know to give her her space until she gets use to them. To see Libby or any of our available dogs go to ... (Read More)www.casperpoundpuppies.com (Less)

Beautiful full bred Gotti Pitbull; extremely docile and a little shy. I rescued her from a family who wasn't giving her proper care. She is AKC registered as Mary Driscoll though I don't have the documents. All of her records are available at Popish Vet Clinic; possibly under Tammy Driscoll. They were going to take her to a kill shelter, but with her wonderful demeanor and affectionate manners I refused to allow them to do so and took her to find her an appropriate home. I believe the hip issues are do to improper care; she needs someone that will give her love, time, and walks. My disability makes such impossible for me and my cat tried to ... (Read More)eat her. I am told the only time she has ever been aggressive was when she was with an aggressive male. My experience with her is gentle and loving; around children, kittens, and cats. She would make a wonderful family member for anyone who wants a beautiful and loving dog. (Less)

Very large pitbull, very energetic, just wants to be loved. I can't keep him anymore cause most places wont accept pitbulls. Free to a good home. Must be close so I can visit and leave the option open that I may take him back at a point where I can provide a stable home for him.

Animal ID: 4482 Buddy (male)

Pit Bull Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered

Came into our shelter as a severely unsocialized dog and would not let anyone touch him. After more than year working with him he lets people he knows pet him and runs free (with a long leash) in our fenced in backyard. We would prefer Buddy go to a person who experience in dealing with dogs like Buddy. Buddy has come a long way since he came to stay with us.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Pit Bull in Wyoming
Pit Bull Dogs can make good pets in Wyoming if they match your IifestyIe. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
