(Read More)stay at the Manhattan Care Center, he has been a good boy. Easy to handle, calm, well-behaved with people and around the other dogs we met. Rock is a friendly and very sweet dog who likes to be petted . He is excellent on the leash, appears to be housetrained, sits on command and poses for pictures. He is quite a beautiful, healthy-looking dog. Rock is a good listener who jumps on the bench next to me for a treat and cuddling time. His Oreo markings are very appealing. Rock is a gentle dog who would make a very sweet companion given a chance. Would you please come and meet him at the Manhattan Care Center? Rock is waiting for his forever owner or family. Zanna is a beautiful dog, She came here from a BC Humane society as she had gone through 7 foster homes. No one wanted to adopt her, I dont quite understand why as she is a super nice dog. Although she is very vocal when she wants to play and some may take that a different way. She loves to fun and may have a skin allergy as we are checking that out right now... this may take some time to get a handle on but she is worth it. Please no cat owners or small dog owners. Bella is a doll although not good with other dogs or cats she is good with people but prefers older kids and adults. She doesnt have much tollerence for the husstle and bussle of young ones. She is protective and will bark at people she doesnt know but as soon as owner says its ok and the person says hi shes all happy. He is not spay yet but it is on the agenda. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership. Pit Bulls excel at high level obedience with proper training. Pit Bulls have been bred for dog fights, and unfortunately a dog that is abused, neglected, or whose instinctive aggression is encouraged, can become hostile and dangerous. Pit Bulls can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise.
